Hanwell Hootie
I am lucky enough to be running 2 stages at this years Hanwell Hootie, being “The Fox” & “The Prince of Wales” with numerous bands on each stage, new and old favourites.
It’s Londons biggest free day event so why not come and check it out and say hi!
Blurb from Hootie below -
We are delighted to announce that the 11th Hanwell Hootie Music Festival will take place on Saturday May 11th 2024. In the past year we have been busy re-thinking the future of the festival while having a great year of pop up events at Hanwell Town FC, Hanwell Carnival and Ealing Broadway.
Our fundamental ethos remains the same. We want to nurture young and emerging artists, celebrate the areas rich musical heritage and create a sense of pride in our little corner of west London, putting Hanwell firmly on the musical map! We have always paid all artists a good fee whilst keeping the festival free to attend and we are continuing with these core values!

PVK traces his blues heritage further back still. A member of the Who forerunners The Detours, his own band The Macabre later opened for acts including Jon Mayall and The Spencer Davis group who came to the fore during the 60’s London Blues explosion.
A Plan B pub gig is a big night out to remember. Bring your mates and your best moves for a large dose of soul stirring blues.

Grace Georgia, Dreamwire & The Trades
Grace Georgia is an emerging Indie Folk and Rock artist from South Kent based in East London. Characterised by her imaginative and intimate lyricism, alongside dream-like chord progressions, she’s been told by listeners that her music draws you in with full attention from how little she holds back in her songwriting.
Dreamwire took shape when Augusto (guitar) and Fionna (vocals) crossed paths through a mutual musician friend in South East London. Augusto had contacted people in a seemingly endless search for band members, when the bassist of his brothers band Chest said that he had met a girl at a party who had: "too good-er personality to not be in a band."
The Trades are an Indie Rock and Alternative band based in London, fronted by lead vocalist and guitarist: Harry King. Their sound combines punchy guitar riffs, a dynamic rhythm section and lyrics that explore the liminal space of growing up on the edge of London. Drawing inspiration from artists including: Sam Fender, Wunderhorse, Fontaines D.C. and Oasis, The Trades’ music reflects the spirit of a generation entering adulthood with the uncertainty and contradictions belonging to a world in constant flux.
