Ferb & The Scarsdale. Fats

Ferb & The Scarsdale. Fats

ferb are a 4-piece of young up-and-comers, hailing from the depths of South London who have been making waves thanks to their electrifying live shows. Whilst initially showcasing a familiar yet raw and refreshing brand of post-punk inspired by the early-mid 2000’s revival scene, they’re already showing sonic growth into a much bigger sound. Their emotive and passionate songwriting is highlighted in the new tracks they’ve been debuting live, inspired by all sides of 90’s alt-rock and its modern day counterparts.Based in South London, Scarsdale Fats’ music blends ‘70s psychedelia, ‘90s grunge, and modern alternative instrumentation. With driving drums and haunting lead guitar, they create a sonic foundation that supports lyrics exploring themes of transience and mortality. Their songs transition from electrifying, high-energy riffs to eastern inspired guitar solos, and into heartfelt rhythmic ballads, each evoking a spectrum of reflective, melancholic emotions. ‎

Hanwell Hootie

I am lucky enough to be running 2 stages at this years Hanwell Hootie, being “The Fox” & “The Prince of Wales” with numerous bands on each stage, new and old favourites.

It’s Londons biggest free day event so why not come and check it out and say hi!
Blurb from Hootie below -

We are delighted to announce that the 11th Hanwell Hootie Music Festival will take place on Saturday May 11th 2024.   In the past year we have been busy re-thinking the future of the festival while having a great year of pop up events at Hanwell Town FC, Hanwell Carnival and Ealing Broadway.

Our fundamental ethos remains the same. We want to nurture young and emerging artists, celebrate the areas rich musical heritage and create a sense of pride in our little corner of west London, putting Hanwell firmly on the musical map! We have always paid all artists a good fee whilst keeping the festival free to attend and we are continuing with these core values!
