Cormac Russell - Canadian born but raised in Ireland, Cormac Russell has taken his music across the globe, including tours across Europe and China. He released his acclaimed seventh album titled A Novel Ark last year, which won some very favourable reviews in the press, as well as airplay on national and international radio. He will be releasing his eighth LP titled 'First Class' this spring. Recording all the instruments himself at home, he draws from a wide range of influences; from indie bands like Radiohead and Pavement to literary giants like James Joyce and F. Scott Fitzgerald. He has recently been gigging London venues with a new live band that he's assembled consisting of Daniel Kabakov on drums and Robbie O'Keeffe on bass. Notable dates have included shows at The Finsbury and The Beehive.
